Kids, come and enjoy songs, stories, and crafts during your own church service. The program is geared toward early elementary ages, but anyone is welcome (toddlers need to bring a parent).


Town Hall Meeting

May Rowland Turns 100

Chas & Julie Edwards Baby Shower

The date has been changed to next month, SUNDAY, MARCH 18, 3 p.m., Youth House
Men and women, you are invited to come and celebrate baby Arabella! Their theme is pink and chocolate brown butterflies. They are registered at Target, or you may contact Brooke Kisser or Tina Wall to participate in a group gift. Please bring a finger food to share. 

* The family is looking for volunteer babysitters to watch/hold/have fun with Arabella either at their home in Concrete or here in town so they can run errands or get some rest! Please contact them if you are available. Arabella was born prematurely – if you feel unwell, please respect her health and wait to see her until you are healthy.

Logo  Contest
NCSDA is looking for a simple and timeless new logo, and we invite all to participate in the logo design contest. Submissions are due March 4. A $100 prize will go to the winning designer. Please pick up an info sheet on the foyer table or in the Youth House.

Celebrate Recovery Small Groups

The adult small group portion of our Celebrate Recovery meetings has started! Tuesday evening meetings are closed and private, so please respect the room during this time. Anyone is welcome to come to one of the open Thursday evening open groups to find out more about Celebrate Recovery, a place you can bring your hurts, habits and hang-ups.

Soup Supper

Eat a delicious bowl of soup and build new friendships at one of our soup suppers. Sign up in the foyer to bring soup, salad, bread or dessert and sign up EACH MEMBER of your family individually on the lines provided so the hosts have enough chairs for everyone on the list.

40 Days of Prayer for “Revelation Speaks Hope” Series
Series runs Fridays thru Sundays, April 6 to May 5, we will pray from Feb. 25 to April 5.
Pastor Ofa invites everyone to lift up our evangelism effort in prayer for 40 days. Keep an eye out for ways to pray and help with the project. Attend as many meetings as you can and invite your friends!

Depression and Anxiety Recovery
Eight Mondays, starting March 12, Fellowship Hall
Depression is the leading cause of disability worldwide. Do not allow yourself to struggle from this curable disease. Join Dr. Nedley, a leading physician in mental health treatment and research, as he walks you through the Depression and Anxiety Recovery Program. Class size is limited, and there is a fee. Come to an Introductory/Information session on Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall to see if the program is right for you. International Sabbath
Sabbath, March 3
We celebrate the variety of cultures represented in our church family and beyond. There will be special music performances and features in another languages and ethnic styles. After second service there will be a potluck featuring food from countries around the world.

Cascade Eagles Pathfinders: Parent Meeting Regarding Oshkosh 2019
Sunday, March 4, 2018 from noon to 1 p.m. SAA Choir Room
We have scheduled a Parent Information Meeting regarding Oshkosh 2019 (August 12-17, 2019), “Chosen”, to discuss travel, costs, logistics, etc. This meeting is for all current Pathfinder parents and any who are potential Pathfinder parents this coming fall (Pathfinders/potential Pathfinders are welcome too). If you have a child who will be in fifth to twelfth grade in September 2018, and are considering enrolling them in Pathfinders, we encourage you to attend this meeting.  We have to start finalizing details in the next few months and are going to need a firm number of attendees this fall. A new shipment of vegetarian foods came in this week. They have Worthington Wham slices, Corned Beef slices, and Smoked Turkey slices. They also have Worthington Corn Dogs, Veggie-Select bacon and ham slices, along with all your favorites in stock. Yum!

Random Acts of Kindness Projects
Winter/Spring 2018
The Outreach Committee  is planning monthly projects to serve our community. 
  • Children’s Books: We are collecting new and gently used books for kids. Drop them off in the “Treasurer Chest” in the foyer.
  • Sedro-Woolley Food Bank Coins - through May: Bring all your loose change and drop it into the giant penny container in the foyer. Our goal is to fill it by May - funds benefit the food bank.

Julie Dawson Restaurant Cards
We are still collecting restaurant gift cards for Julie. The cards have made a huge difference for the family and they have really appreciated everyone's help. Julie doing better but is still limited on what she can do. She would love to have visitors to break up her long days.
